Obstetrics

Giving birth is one of the most important moments in every woman’s life. Every pregnant woman’s dream is safe and comfortable childbirth. Excluding any possible difficulties for mother or for the baby is of vital importance. Giving birth in Germany is first of all safety and stability, as well as comfort for the mother and the baby.

Germany is the leader on the European healthcare arena. Their excellent skills and impressive experience combined with the latest equipment make Germany one of the best places in the world when it comes to high standard healthcare.

Future mothers coming to Germany from abroad are requested to come one month before the due date. They live in the closest hotel to the clinic. Make sure that your airline company admits women on their last stages of pregnancy on board.

Before childbirth future mothers can choose to have ultrasonography, laboratory tests, etc. Before admittance to the clinic an obstetrician ion will visit weekly to check on the health of both the mother and the baby. After hospitalization the mother will be introduced to the medical staff responsible for the prospective childbirth, shown the rooms where she will have a baby.

After childbirth the baby and the mother spend 4 more days in the hospital under the supervision of the medical staff. Following 3 weeks the baby is examined by an obstetrician and a neonatologist.

All the necessary documents concerning legal issues can be settled in your country’s embassy in Germany.
